i'm leaving for chicago first thing tomorrow morning. and really, really, really enjoy southwest business select. SWOON.

i also welcome a break from 100+ degree weather we've had in the south for the past 4 weeks. though any reason to spend an entire weekend at the pool is ok in my book.

back to CLE

heading to CLE later this week to look at some condos. adventures in real estate, if you will. even better, i've decided to drive instead of fly to give me some travel options and schedule freedom. i haven't made this drive in months and am not looking forward to it. it does, however, give me an opportunity to update my playlists (two ipods and the iphone).

in better news, it gives me a short week in VA before heading off to chicago next week.

reformatory

i am back in the office after a last minute holiday trip back to the CLE this weekend. this is the first time since i've moved that i was able to return to NEO so quickly and i loved every minute of it.

what i'm not loving right now is being back in the office in southern VA. tomorrow is supposed to top off at 102 degrees and while i love the stifling heat and humidity, i typically prefer to enjoy it while poolside, with my friends good book and iphone playlist. unfortunately, our time is of the essence and motorsports doesn't really slow down in the summer months. so it's all business all day for a while, until i can sneak back to my lover CLE for a while.

for now i'm going to take a few days, get back on a normal (as close to normal as i can ever claim to be when discussing sleep patterns) schedule and unpack. return to yoga and enjoy the slow quiet cadence of the south for a bit.

mansfield reformatory

i'm leaving my lover, cleveland today and am off for our next race at midohio. i felt like my time home was cut short, but am so appreciative of the friends i was able to spend time with while i was here. i also appreciate that they keep their guilt to a minimum when trying to talk me into moving back to ohio ;)

so i leave this afternoon and head south. i'll be trackside until sunday afternoon, then i head to summit point for an executive event and finally head home late tuesday evening. it's been a crazy couple of weeks, but i'm looking forward to our race this weekend and getting back to my typical busy work weeks.
